Capt. Victor M. Villanueva is an alumnus of the Philippine Merchant Marine School. He attained the rank of Master Mariner in the year 1986 at the age of 34. Capt. Villanueva then worked as a Manning Manager and Executive Vice President for a reputable manning agency from June 1994 to March 2009 before establishing Unitra Maritime Manila Inc.

Mr. Yuji Hoshiba is an alumnus of the KOBE University of Mercantile Marine. After graduating from university, he joined an Owner/Operator company of LPG carriers where he spent most of his time in the Chartering and Operation Department. In 2004, Mr. Hoshiba joined Unitra Maritime Co., Ltd. in Tokyo which is engaged as a manning agency, where he consequently met Capt. Villanueva. Presently, Mr. Hoshiba is also the Managing Director of Unitra Maritime Co., Ltd.

Capt. Miguelito A. Mariano graduated from the Philippine Maritime Institute (Manila) in the year 1979 where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Marine Transportation. He then obtained his Master License in the year 1997 and was promoted to the rank of Master that same year. Capt. Mariano then joined a Singaporean ship management company in 2010 where he worked as a Marine Superintendent for 6 months. In 2012, he joined a reputable manning agency as Training Manager before joining UMMI in the latter part of 2016.

Mr. Joshua M. Villanueva is an alumnus of De La Salle University – Dasmarinas where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Mr. Villanueva is a Career Service Professional who worked as a corporate paralegal for one of the top ten law firms in the Philippines before joining UMMI.
